Gold Vermeil, Rose Vermeil

Gold/Rose Gold Vermeil (pronounced ver-MAY) is genuine .925 sterling silver base metal that has been expertly plated with a thick layer (1 microns) of 14K Gold. Gold Vermeil is far more durable than other Gold plated options and can last for over years when properly stored in an airtight plastic bag. However, if worn continuously (especially rings) the Gold can start to wear away after six months. Care instructions

Our 14K Gold is made of 58% pure gold alloyed with other metals to make the perfect shade of gold and durable jewelry. Solid Gold is a soft metal, therefore the mixture of metals allows for durability and strength. 14K gold will not tarnish or discolor so it is perfect for daily wear. Care Instructions

Sterling Silver

Pure silver is 99% pure silver metal. If you buy an ounce of silver in a bar then what you are getting is 99% pure silver. Unfortunately, 99% pure silver is not hard enough to be suitable for a jewelry metal. This is why we have 925 sterling silver, a metal that is 92.5% pure silver. Care Instructions
