1. HINGE HUGGIES OR HOOPS THAT WON'T STAY CLOSED

Before wearing, open and close to feel how it 'clicks'. The click sound should be obvious

With everyday wear, the closure may become loose. Fine metals are softer and more flexible than cheaper metals are. So you can easily re-adjust the post to close securely.

STEP 1: Is the dip on the top or the bottom of the huggie post?

The RED HIGHLIGHTED AREA is where the back slot and the dip of the post should meet

TOP DIP POST
BOTTOM DIP POST
Push the post upward (VERY slightly) and try to close the huggie. If it still feels loose, repeat the process until it feels secure. Push the post downward (VERY slightly) and try to close the huggie. If it still feels loose, repeat the process until it feels secure.

2. HOW TO CLEAN GOLD JEWELRY

Over time, gold loses its shine due to products we wear like lotion and perfume as well as oils and sweat from our skin.

We recommend removing your piece before coming into contact with water or sweat. Clean your piece by buffing gently with a dry cloth and storing it in a small airtight bag to protect it from elements of daily exposure.

  • Store your jewelry in your fabric pouch or a plastic bag that is air tight.

  • Remove your jewelry when showering, exercising and swimming (scratches and scuffs can scratch away the gold)

  • Do not wear your jewelry overnight

  • Always put on jewelry after applying perfume or lotions

  • Wear rubber gloves when cleaning as bleach and harsh chemicals can thin the gold overlay
